Hi, my name is Lane Clark and I live in Sandy, Utah. May I tell you how this all got started? I have always imagined the fun it would be to stay with other LDS members in other cities but didn't know how to go about finding them, and really didn't want to impose on them. They may not want to stay in Sandy so it seemed impossible to make everything work.
Well, I finally figured out a way to do it and the Internet made it all possible. LDSHomeShare is the fun and inexpensive way to overnight in cities throughout the USA, and soon Canada. Now I don't have to rent lodging as often and now you don't either. We can all stay with each other and have a great time doing it. I can stay at the Johnson's home in Missouri and you can go to the Smith's home in California and so on. It is free to join and inexpensive to use!
Home sharing or swapping is a decades old tradition in Europe. Normally 2 parties switch homes for a week for more. LDSHome Share is designed to be more flexable by letting members stay for 1 night or more and then continue to their next location. It's fun to meet new LDS members across the nation, and save big on the accommodation budget.
